Does my phone support eSIM?
Most phones from 2019 onward do: iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, most Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer. Quick check: dial *#06#, and if you see an EID number, you have eSIM support. Phones must also be carrier-unlocked.
When should I install it?
Install at home on Wi-Fi, before you travel. Activation happens when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination, and your validity period starts then.
Do I keep my own number?
Yes. The eSIM sits alongside your physical SIM. Your number stays reachable, while data flows through the travel plan, so no roaming charges.
What if something goes wrong?
